Cinematography

April 2009, “Finding Visual Style: I am a Filmmaker,” HD documentary, 20 minutes. Position: Cinematographer,
Director, Producer, Editor. Thesis film for TCU Radio-TV-Film department. Interviews with filmmakers regarding
their specific cinematic styles. Produced for the TCU Honors Program, Fort Worth, TX.

November 2008, “Whiskey Sour,” HD video, 26 minutes. Position: Director of Photography/Editor/Colorist.
A short film set in a local bar about two strangers get into an unexpectly heated controversey.
Produced in collaboration with Texas Christian University (TCU) Student Filmmakers Association (SFA)
Fort Worth, TX.

October 2008, “Frogs for the Cure,” HD documentary, 5 minutes. Position: Director of Photography/Camera Operator.
A short documentary about how breast cancer has impacted the lives of several Fort Worth families and how
they have contributed to finding a cure. Produced for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Dallas, TX. Featured
on the Jumbotron at the TCU vs. BYU football game 10/16/08.

April 2008, “Standby,” HD feature, 50 minutes. Position: Director of Photography/Killer Double (acting).
Suspense/Thriller feature about a psychotic listener of a campus radio station who is upset over the station’s
format change and takes out his rage by killing all the student disc jockeys. Produced in collaboration with
SFA, Fort Worth, TX.

April 2008, “The Reti Opening,” HD video, 8 minutes. Position: Director of Photography. A hot shot American
chess prodigy is on a train traveling across Europe when he plays a fateful game against a naive geriatric.
Produced in collaboration with SFA, Fort Worth, TX.

March 2008, “The Lie – The Cheat,” HD video, 5 minutes. Position: Director of Photography. Two college aged
friends shoot the breeze over a game of pool. Produced for Video II lab, TCU.

February 2008, “Necessary Targets,” HD video, 6 minutes. Position: Director of Photography. Two women discuss
their upcoming peacekeeping mission in Eastern Europe. Produced for Video II lab, TCU.

February 2008, “Not High School, episode 101: Move-In Day,” HDV video, 15 minutes. Position: Director of Photography.
Pilot for the webisode series “Not High School”; about six freshmen adapting to college life. Available online at
www.nothighschool.com. Produced by KnowFear productions, Fort Worth, TX.

November 2007, “Amendment II,” HD video, 9 minutes. Position: Director of Photography. Based on true event, a man
enacts his own vigilante cowboy justice on robbers holding his wife hostage in a grocery store. Produced in
collaboration with SFA, Fort Worth, TX. Featured at AFI Dallas 2008, North Texas College Showcase. Winner of
‘Best Cinematography’ at Darkhorse Filmfest 2007. Featured at 5th Street Arts Festival, 2008, Fort Worth, TX.

November 2007, “Flashback,” SD 24p video, 6 minutes. Position: Director of Photography/Teaching Assistant. Based
on the writings of Virginia Woolfe, a woman musters up enough courage to kill her abusive husband. Produced
for Video I lab (teaching assistant), TCU.

October 2007, “1000 Years,” SD 24p video, 7 minutes. Position: Director of Photography/Teaching Assistant. A wife is
forced to confront her husband about his drug addiction. Produced for Video I lab (teaching assistant), TCU.

September 2007, “Dealing off the Bottom,” SD 24p video, 7 minutes. Position: Director of Photography/Teaching Assistant.
A gun, a crooked card game, and treacherous family members lead to a murderous result. Produced for Video I lab
(teaching assistant), TCU.

 

Director

April 2008, “Truck Driver,” HD video, 6 minutes. Position: Director/Editor. A big-rig truck driver returns home
after a long trip and has to face his inner turmoil with his wife. Produced for Video II lab, Texas Christian
University (TCU), Fort Worth, Texas.

April 2007, “Greek Cologne Commercial: Narcissus,” HD video, 2:30 minutes. Position: Director. Narcissus cologne
will make you smell as good as you look. Produced in collaboration with Student Filmmakers Association (SFA),
Fort Worth, Texas. Featured at AFI Dallas 2008, North Texas College Showcase.

March 2007, “Puppies with Teeth,” SD 24p video, 7 minutes. Position: Director/Editor/ Co-writer. A man returns
home from his miserable job and realizes that everything in life is not as it seems, even the puppies have teeth
too. Adapted from a Tom Clark poem. Produced for Video I lab, TCU.

February 2005, “Media Miscommunication: Understanding Journalistic Bias,” documentary, 10 minutes. Position:
Director/Writer/Editor/Narrator. A documentary examining the history of media bias in America. Produced for
National History Day competition; a top 15 national finalist.

February 2004, “The Marshall Plan: Diplomatic Encounter, Economic Exchange,” documentary, 10 minutes. Position:
Director/Writer/Editor/Narrator. A documentary explaining the history, circumstance and effect of the Marshall
Plan following WWII. Produced for National History Day competition; top 30 national finalist.

March 2003, “The Right to Die: The Deaths of Nancy,” documentary, 10 minutes. Position: Director/Writer/Editor/Narrator.
Documentary chronicling the right to die case of Nancy Cruzan in Southwest Missouri; a case which led legislation
for living wills and when life-support should be cut off for vegetative-state patients. Produced for National
History Day competition; top 5 national finalist. Featured in exhibition at the Smithsonian Institution and Missouri
State Capitol.

April 2009, “The Method,” HD video, 30 minutes. Position: Executive Producer/Unit Production Manager. A director
uses illegal tactics to get the perfect performance from his lead actress. Produced in association with SFA,
Fort Worth, TX.

November 2008, “The Queue,” HD video, 16 minutes. Position: Executive Producer/1st Assistant Director. A college
student’s potluck roommate has a psychological condition that requires him to relive whatever movie he’s last seen.
Produced in association with SFA, Fort Worth, TX.

March 2007, “The Package,” SD 24p video, 7 minutes. Position: Associate Producer. When a recluse receives a rare
package, he wonders what could be inside. Produced for Video I lab, TCU.

November 2007, “The Big Texan,” HDV documentary, 25 minutes. Position: Producer/Editor. A documentary crew follows
a man’s attempt to consume the “free” 72oz steak at the Big Texan steakhouse in Amarillo, TX. Shot in cinema-verite
style. Produced for Documentary class, TCU. Winner of “Honorable Mention” at Accolade Film Festival 2008.

November 2008, “Price Check,” HD video, 29 minutes. Position: Rough Cut Editor. A grocery store clerk with no goals
or aspirations,finds the love of his life in a quirky romance. Produced in association with SFA, Fort Worth, TX.

March 2007, “Phil’s Devil,” SD 24p video, 7 minutes. Position: Editor. A boring man is visited and tempted by the
devil. Produced in 48 hours as part of a 48 hour video race competition. Winner of “Honorable Mention” in TCU
Student Filmmakers 48 hour video race.

April 2008, “Hot and Ready,” HD video, 8 minutes. Position: 1st Assistant Camera. A couple decide to have fun with
their strangely neurotic pizza guy. Produced for Video II lab, TCU.

April 2007, “Greek Cologne Commercials: Oedipus,” HD video, 1:30 minutes. Position: Camera Operator. With Oedipus
cologne you’ll have no choice but to give in to temptation. Produced in collaboration with SFA, Fort Worth, TX.

April 2009, “Steve McQueen,” HD video, 28 minutes. Position: Unit Production Manager/Stedicam Operator. A romantic
tragedy about a day in the life of a man trying to find his calling in life. Produced in collaboration with SFA,
Fort Worth, TX.

April 2009, “Court Jester,” HD video, 26 minutes. Position: Unit Production Manager. Courtroom comedy abounds when the
campus prankster is put on trial for pranking the University Chancellor. Produced in collaboration with SFA,
Fort Worth, TX.

March 2008, “Fork in the Road,” SD multi-camera sitcom pilot, 24 minutes. Position: Gaffer/Floor Director. A rural
diner comes under new ownership, and the comedic cast of diner employees doesn’t know how to cope with these new
“city-folk”. Produced by TCU Radio-TV-Film Department.

March 2008, “Not High School, episode 103: Dylan declares,” HDV video, 15 minutes. Position: Gaffer. The third episode
in the “Not High School” webisode series, Dylan declares a major. Available online at www.nothighschool.com.

Winner of “People’s Choice” award at Darkhorse Filmfest 2007.

November 2007, “Apathy,” HD video, 10 minutes. Position: Boom Operator. After an awkward one-night stand, a college student
must deal with the consequences (if there are any at all). Produced in collaboration with SFA, Fort Worth, TX.

April 2007, “Frisco,” SD 24p video, 9 minutes. Position: Audio Mixer. A classic film noir in which a man meets a potential
mistress in a busy Brooklyn bar. Produced for Video I lab, TCU.

February 2007, “Cleaning the Gun,” SD 24p video, 7 minutes. Position: Gaffer. A bickering couple takes their chances in a
game of Russian roulette. Produced for Video I lab, TCU.

October 2006, “The Internship,” SD 24p video, 9 minutes. Position: Dolly Grip. Two college students become caught in
their boss’s murderous dealings. Produced in collaboration with SFA, Fort Worth, TX.
